Abstract

Aiming to solve the problem that the reconnaissance actions of satellites in low orbit make the battlefield lose stealthiness,a method of electromagnetic pulse is utilized to damage the satel-lite receiver.The electromagnetic simulation software CST and circuit simulation software ADS are used to model electronic targets and conduct electromagnetic pulse irradiation simulation experiments are carried out.The results show that high-power microwave emission sources with a transmission power of 30 GW,a transmission gain of 70 dB,and a distance of 400 km from the target can cause damage to some components of the receiver equipment;If the transmission power is 30 GW,the transmission gain is 90 dB,and the distance from the target is 400 km,it can cause complete damage to the receiver e-quipment.The results verify the feasibility of the scheme for the electromagnetic pulse weapon attack-ing micro satellite receiver in the low orbit.
