摘要

Abstract

Based on finite time thermodynamics,a transient model of separated two-stage thermoelectric cooler working in a confined space was established.The calculation method of transient performance was given,and the variation rules of space temperature,module temperature difference,input power,and coefficient of performance with time were obtained.The effects of key parameters such as the working current and the length of the thermoelectric leg on the stable temperature,cooling rate and coefficient of performance of the cooling space were analysed,and compared with two-stage cooler in series.Results show that compared with the two-stage thermoelectric cooler in series,the initial coefficient of performance of the separated cooler is increased by 3.57%.The coefficients of performance of the non-adiabatic model without heat source and the non-adiabatic model with heat source are increased by 5.72%and 4.11%at 300 s,respectively,and the space temperature is decreased by 5.58%and 3.09%respectively.The space temperature of adiabatic model and non-adiabatic model without heat source can be reduced to-29.03℃and 8.98℃respectively by optimization of working current.
