An overview of reliability analysis methods for an HVDC transmission system
摘要
Abstract
The high voltage direct current transmission system(HVDC)is widely used because of its advantages of large transmission capacity,low energy consumption,and the ability to achieve asynchronous interconnection of power systems.Reliability analysis can provide an important operational and decision-making basis for the system.Therefore,reliability analysis methods for HVDC at present,at home and abroad,are summarized.First,the differences in the composition of traditional HVDC and voltage source converter-based HVDC(VSC-HVDC)are explained,and the commonly used reliability indicators of HVDC are described.Secondly,starting from the perspectives of statistical,manual,state space and other methods,the basic principles and research status of reliability modeling for HVDC are analyzed.The advantages and disadvantages of various methods are compared,and the new challenges in reliability analysis of VSC-HVDC are discussed.Finally,given the shortcomings in current research,the reliability analysis methods for HVDC are discussed and prospected.关键词
