Abstract

In order to study the creep characteristics of mudstone samples in the slope of Fushun west open-pit mine,a mesoscale model was established and numerical simulation was carried out.The creep test of rock samples from Fushun west open-pit mine slope was carried out by using ITZ-1 triaxial shear instrument and Chen's fractional loading method,and the creep curve of rock samples was obtained.The basic parameters of the improved Burgers model were obtained by numerical fitting of the experimental data,and the UMAT subroutine was developed and written for the improved Burgers model in ABAQUS finite element analysis software under Fortran compiling environment.The mesoscale structure model of rock was established by Python script combined with Voronoi polygon method,and the creep curve of mudstone sample was simulated.The mesoscale damage obtained by experimental creep curve and numerical simulation was analyzed and studied.The results show that the mudstone in Fushun west open-pit slope has the characteristics of deceleration and constant velocity creep.The creep results simulated by mesoscopic model have little error with the experimental results,and the mesoscopic structure growing along the axial direction in mudstone is more prone to damage and destruction.This mesoscopic model can simulate the mesoscopic structure characteristics of rocks more accurately,and provides a reference for the simulation of rock mechanics in engineering practice.
