Multifunctional Redesign of Traditional Bamboo Furniture in Western Hunan Province Based on Functional Semantics
摘要
Abstract
The design and production of furniture with bamboo has become an important trend in the future furniture industry development.Multifunctional furniture has the great potential and prospect in meeting the needs of the emerging furniture market.The traditional bamboo furniture in western Hunan province(Xiangxi)is practically functional,environmentally friendly and regionally distinctive.This paper analyzes the types of traditional bamboo furniture in Xiangxi and its value reflected,and puts forward the idea of multi-functional redesign of traditional Xiangxi bamboo furniture based on the characteristics of multi-functional furniture,which is then applied in practical design.The redesign of traditional Xiangxi bamboo furniture should pay attention to economic profits and environmental concerns,and integrate contemporary technology and artificial intelligence while retaining its original style,in order to incorporate Xiangxi's unique style and excellent historical and cultural heritage into modern furniture design.This can not only inherit and develop the traditional bamboo weaving process,but also disseminate the concept of green development and improve people's quality of life.关键词
