Research on Neutralization and Disposal Method of Propionyl Chloride Waste Liquid

Abstract

In order to reduce the difficulty of disposal of propionyl chloride waste liquid with high acidity and corrosion,the safety and efficiency of back-end disposal are increased.First dilute the propionyl chloride waste liquid with deionized water,and then neutralize the reaction with three reagents,NaOH solution with a mass concentration of 3%,Na2CO3 and NaHCO3,adjust the amount of alkaline agents,neutralize the propi-onyl chloride waste liquid to neutral,and combine the reaction system temperature,pH,heating value,acid fog generation and system reaction in-tensity and other indicators.The optimal neutralizing agents and reaction conditions were investigated.After the test,the optimal result is as fol-lows:the waste propionyl chloride solution is diluted 20 times first,and every 1 g of waste propionyl chloride solution needs to be neutralized with 2 g sodium bicarbonate.The pH after neutralization is 7.0,carbon dioxide gas escapes from the reaction system,there is no temperature change and no acid fog is generated,and the heat value of the waste liquid after neutralization is 0 cal/g.
