Abstract
The content of magnetic impurities and residual alkali in cathode materials for lithium ion battery are mandatory inspection indicators for supply.The testing methods for the two technical indicators have a long process and contain many technical requirements.It is necessary to provide a detailed interpretation of the standard methods in GB/T 41704-2022.This article interprets the testing methods for magnetic impurities content and residual alkali content in cathode materials for lithium ion battery from the perspective of standard structure and main content.It explains the principles and basis of each step in the standard methods in the aspects of magnetic separation conditions,number of magnetic impurities,dissolution of magnetic impurities elements,and testing methods for element concentration in magnetic impurities testing,and explains the principles and basis of each step in the standard methods in the aspects of residual alkali extraction conditions,titration process,selection of equivalent points,and calculation method of residual alkali content in residual alkali content testing,providing reference and guidance for relevant testers to familiarize themselves with and apply the methods.关键词
