Abstract
[Purpose/Significance]The purpose of this paper is to analyze the core issues and expert opin-ions of the"2023 Notification of the 9th Symposium on the Construction of New Think Tanks",and to discuss the responsibility and mission of new type of think tanks with Chinese characteristics in the context of the new era.[Method/Process]This paper interprets and analyzes the expert reports and roundtable forums of the"2023 Noti-fication of the 9th Symposium on the Construction of New Think Tanks"organized by the editorial board of Think Tank:Theory&Practice,and summarizes,refines and recommends the important points from the three levels of the responsibility of the times,mission,and practice paths.Recommendation.[Result/Conclusion]The responsi-bilities of the times for the construction of China's think tanks include:serving national strategies and empowering Chinese modernization,focusing on key issues and promoting scientific and technological innovation,dissemi-nating China's voice and promoting international image;,providing intellectual services and support to enhance the quality of decision-making,and supporting social governance and promoting the progress of civilization.The mission of building a new type of Chinese think tank in the new era requires five innovations,namely,innovation in the internationalized development of think tanks,innovation in the theoretical methodology of think tanks,innovation in the operation mechanism of think tanks,innovation in the governance capacity of think tanks,and innovation in the informationization construction of think tanks.The practical path for the construction of think tanks with Chinese characteristics in the new era includes:formulating top-level design and strategic planning,basing on theoretical innovation and methodological research,building a high-quality and multi-level talent team,promoting the internationalization of think tanks and global cooperation,implementing the informationization and digitalization construction of think tanks,as well as innovating the operation mechanism and optimizing the struc-ture and governance.关键词
