温中定眩汤治疗痰浊中阻型梅尼埃病的临床研究
Clinical Study of Wenzhong Dingxuan Decoction in Treating Meniere's Disease with Phlegm Turbidity Obstruction

Abstract
Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Wenzhong Dingxuan decoction(WDD)on treating Meniere's disease with phlegm turbidity obstruction.Methods:Eighty-two patients with phlegm turbidity obstruction syndrome Meniere's disease who were treated at Changzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March 2021 to March 2023 were selected and randomly divided into a conventional group and a traditional Chinese medicine group using a random number table method,with 41 cases in each group.The conventional group was treated with oral betahistine mesylate tablets,while the traditional Chinese medicine group was treated the same plus oral WDD.The clinical efficacy,TCM syndrome score,vertigo,tinnitus,hearing score,vertebral artery systolic peak velocity and adverse reactions were observed.Results:The total effective rate of the traditional Chinese medicine group was higher than that of the conventional group(P<0.05).Before treatment,there was no significant difference in TCM syndrome score,dizziness handicap inventory(DHI),tinnitus handicap inventory(THI)scores,pure tone hearing,and peak systolic velocity of vertebral artery between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score,DHI,and THI scores in the traditional Chinese medicine group were lower than those in the conventional group(P<0.05),while the pure tone hearing and peak systolic flow velocity of the vertebral artery in the traditional Chinese medicine group were higher than those in the conventional group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Wenzhong Dingxuan decoction can effectively improve clinical symptoms,improve hearing and vertebral artery systolic peak flow rate in the treatment of phlegm turbidity obstruction syndrome Meniere's disease,with clear curative effect and high safety.关键词
