Abstract
Located on the basaltic platform in eastern Anhui Province,the Banta forest farm in Lai'an County belongs to a groundwater-shortage area in the east section of the Jianghuai watershed.Dedicated geological survey and comprehensive electrical method led to the discovery of a fault,whose mechanical characteristics and water-containing capacity(and transmissivity)were identified through initial analysis of the deformation,distribution and stress field variation characteristics of regional structures.Water supply wells SJ01 and SJ02 were constructed for verification.The well SJ02 pumping test showed daily yield of 400 t water of good quality,which resolved the issue of drinking water for about 750 people of the farm,bringing remarkable economic and social benefits.关键词
