Abstract

Conventional aerial photogrammetry should be zoned by mitigating differences in terrain elevations in sharp-relief mountainous areas.Even so,difference between local flight height and datum level of a specific zone will still exceed the set limit,difference in ground resolution is large,flight and image qualities are difficult to control,and flight efficiency is reduced.In order to control the effect of the difference in ground resolution on the measurement results in sharp-relief areas,avoid tedious zoning for aerial photography and improve flight efficiency,this paper firstly discusses the influence of the ground resolution on the measurement results,and then puts forward the method of UAV's flight following the outline of landform without aerial photographic zoning in sharp-relief terrains.This method has been applied to the 1∶1 000 topographic surveying project of the Tonglingzhai gold polymetallic ore deposit in Susong County,and proved good in the quality of work results,high in work efficiency,and workable and reliable itself.
