疏水性椰壳纤维的制备及其对油水体系的分离性能
Preparation of hydrophobic coir fiber for separation of oil/water

Abstract
Hydrophobic adsorbent material from coconut shell fiber(HCF)with porous structure was prepared through alkali treatment and methyltrimethoxysilane(MTMS)hydrophobic modification of coconut shell fiber.The surface morphologies and chemical structures of HCF were characterized by SEM,EDS,FT-IR and XRD,and the surface wetting properties of HCF were investigated by static contact angle.The results showed that the static water contact angle of HCF was 126°,which remained 125°in the solutions with different pH.The adsorption capacity of HCF ranged from 8.49 to 12.88 g/g for oils(crude,pump,sunflower,motor and soybean oils)and organic solvents(carbon tetrachloride).The adsorption capacity reached equilibrium within 3 min with excellent adsorption capacity and rate.HCF could be used in the continuous separation of oil slick from water with a pressure of 0.09 MPa,and exhibited a separation flux of 57 326.14 L/(m2·h)and a separation efficiency of 97.02%.The results confirmed HCF with excellent ability to treat large amounts of oil wastewater.Furthermore,HCF maintained good adsorption performance after 10 cycles recycling,verifying good stability of HCF.关键词
