Abstract

In recent years,how to further enhance the magnetic properties of Nd-Fe-B magnets on the basis of existing research has become a challenge that field physicians are constantly exploring.This article systematically studied the microstructure and magnetic properties of Nd-Fe-B magnets with different Cu contents subjected to heat treatment at different heat treatment temperatures.Research has shown that when the Cu content in Nd-Fe-B magnets is 0.4 wt% and the secondary heat treatment temperature is 620℃,the magnets achieve the highest coercivity of 19.5 kOe.Through the analysis and characterization of the microstructure,it was found that Nd6Fe13Ga phase was formed at the grain boundaries,which played a good de-coupling role.At the same time,the addition of Cu element is also conducive to the formation of smooth and continuous grain boundaries inside the magnet,which is the main reason for the improvement of the magnetic properties of the magnet.This article provides a feasible solution for reducing the use of heavy rare earth elements and enhancing the magnetic properties of Nd-Fe-B magnets,promoting the commercial application of high-performance Nd-Fe-B magnets while also improving the international competitiveness of corresponding products in China.
