Advances on Metamaterial Based Adaptive Morphing Structural Technology

可变体技术可以提高航空载运工具的气动效率并扩展航程,是航空领域的颠覆性技术之一.以往机体的变形只能通过机构完成,增加了系统的复杂性和总体重量.自身具有可变形能力的超材料既能够精准调控结构的可变形能力,又具有较高的轻量化水平和智能化潜力,有望推动可变体技术的运用.本文总结了几种可变形超材料及其在自适应变体结构技术领域的应用探索,阐述了超材料由于其较强的可设计性而在变体结构/驱动/结构承载一体化设计中显示出巨大的应用潜力,并对未来发展趋势进行了展望.

Morphing technology,as one of disruptive technologies for aircraft,can improve aerodynamic efficiency and increase range.Generally,aircraft morphing is realized through mechanical mechanism,which limits the freedom of deformation and increases the weight of the system.Morphing metamaterials that can precisely regulate the deformability of structures,possessing a high level of lightweight and intelligent potential,are expected to promote the development of morphing technology.This paper reviews several types of deformable metamaterials and their corresponding application exploration for adaptive structures,explicating their significant potential in the integrated design for morphing/actuation/load-bearing structures.Furtherly,the authors give a prospective outlook on future development trends of morphing technology.
