Seismic damage investigation and analysis of hospital buildings in Ms 6.8 Luding earthquake
2022年9月5日,四川省甘孜藏族自治州泸定县发生6.8级地震,对泸定县、汉源县、石棉县、康定市、荥经县等地造成严重灾害.为了分析此次地震对当地医疗建筑的影响,对灾区60余栋医疗建筑进行了震害调查,分析了医疗建筑结构、非结构构件及关键设备等的地震损伤情况,对其典型震害特征进行了总结.调查结果表明:未经过正规抗震设计的木结构、砌体结构医疗建筑震害严重,而经抗震设计的医疗建筑结构构件大多基本完好或轻微破坏;非结构构件及关键设备的震害较为严重,影响了医院震后正常运行;而采用隔震技术的医疗建筑结构抗震性能良好,能够实现对结构、非结构和设备的三重保护.根据震害调查结果,针对医疗建筑结构、非结构构件及设备的防震保护,分别提出了相应的建议.对于位于高烈度抗震设防地区、地震重点监视防御区的新建医疗建筑结构可采用隔震减震等技术减轻地震损伤,对于非结构构件及关键医疗设备可根据其特征采用抗震支架、可靠锚固、隔震技术等实现震后正常使用.研究成果可促进我国医疗建筑抗震性能及震后功能保全能力提升,推动韧性城乡建设与发展.
On September 5th,2022,an Ms 6.8 earthquake occurred at Luding County,Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture,Sichuan Province.This earthquake caused severe disasters on Luding County,Hanyuan County,Shimian County,Kangding City,Yingjing County and other adjacent regions.In order to analyze the effects of the earthquake on local hospital buildings,seismic damage investigation on more than 60 local hospital buildings was conducted.The seismic damage of structural,non-structural components and critical equipment in these hospital buildings are analyzed.The typical characteristics of seismic damage observed in this earthquake are summarized.The investigation results indicate that the wooden and masonry hospital buildings without formal seismic design suffer heavy damage.However,the structural components of hospital buildings with proper seismic design mostly remain undamaged or suffer slight damage.The non-structural components and critical equipment suffer heavy damage,which influenc the post-earthquake normal operation of hospitals.The hospital buildings using seismic isolation technology have excellent seismic performance and can realize the three-level seismic protection of structural,non-structural components and equipment.Based on the seismic damage investigation results,related suggestions were proposed for seismic protection of structural,non-structural components and equipment in hospital buildings.For new hospital buildings located in high seismic fortification intensity areas and key earthquake surveillance and protection areas,seismic isolation and absorption technology can be used to reduce seismic damage.For non-structural components and critical equipment,seismic bracing,reliable anchor and base-isolation technology can be used based on their characteristics to maintain normal functionality after earthquakes.The research results can facilitate the improvement of seismic performance and post-earthquake functionality preservation ability of hospital buildings,and promote the construction and development of resilient urban and rural areas in China.
