Evaluation of Green Development Efficiency in the Yellow River Basin Based on Super-Efficiency SBM-DEA

摘要

Abstract

Based on the data of nine provinces in the Yellow River Basin from 2010 to 2021,this paper uses the super-efficiency SBM-DEA model to measure the green development efficiency of the Yellow River Basin under undesired output,and decomposes the total factor productivity of the Yellow River Basin with the help of the Global-Malmquist-Luenberger index,and studies the green development efficiency and change characteristics of the Yellow River Basin.The results show that:First,the green development efficiency of the Yellow River Basin shows a fluctuating upward trend,the green development in the lower reaches of the Yellow River Basin is relatively stable,and the green development efficiency gap between provinces is large.Second,there is a serious redundancy of investment in the Yellow River Basin,with excessive investment in science and technology expenditure,and electricity consumption of the whole society at the end of the year.Third,the total factor productivity of the Yellow River Basin increased during the study period,and the in-crease of total factor productivity was due to pure technological progress,and technological efficiency did not play an important role.Fourth,there is an obvious positive correlation between the green development effi-ciency of provinces in the Yellow River Basin,and the correlation is weakening year by year.
