Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of dental operatingmicroscope combined with iRoot BP Plus for permanent pulp pulpotomy.Methods:A total of 44 patients(57 teeth)who underwent permanent tooth pulpotomy in ourde-partment from 2021 to 2022 were selected.According to the different surgical methods,they were divided into experimental group(microscope+iRoot BP Plus)and control group(visual+MTA).In the experimental group,iRoot BP Plus was uniformly covered on the pulp surface after the pulp section under the dental operating microscope.In the control group,MTA was ap-plied to the pulp section after the pulpotomy.Clinical and X-ray examinations were performed in both groups at 1,3 and 12 months after treatment to evaluate the postoperative clinical efficacy and the formation of calcification bridge.Results:Twelve months after surgery,the clinical success rate of the experimental group was 100%,and the success rate of the control group was 95.83%,with no statistical significance between the two groups.The time of pulp capping in the experimental group was shorter than that in the control group,and there was a significant difference between the two groups.The rate of calcification bridge formation in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group 12 months after operation,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant.Conclusion:Both dental operating microscope com-bined with iRoot BP Plus pulpotomy and MTA pulpotomy can achieve good clinical results,but the former can significantly shorten the treatment time,reduce the number of visits,and earlier,better promote the formation of dentin bridge.关键词
