Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the effects of using magnifier in the training of maxillary anterior all-ceramic crown preparation.Methods:Eighteen dental students were randomly divided into two groups,group A carried out the prepa-ration of three cases of the right maxillary central incisors with unaided eye first,followed by the preparation of three addition-al cases using magnifier.Conversely,group B first completed three cases of right maxillary central incisor all-ceramic crown preparation with magnifier and then three cases of tooth preparation with unaided eye.The outcomes were scored and ana-lyzed,and the experience of using magnifier was evaluated and analyzed through a questionnaire.Results:The scored with un-aided eye group(81.6±4.49)was significantly lower than the group with the aid of magnifier(86.8±3.19)(P<0.05),and better definition and outcome was described as seen in the questionnaire.But the tooth preparation process with unaided eye was more fluent.Conclusion:The use of magnifier in the training of maxillary anterior all-ceramic crown preparation is effec-tively.关键词
