Abstract
The State of Conservation(SOC)assessment plays a crucial role in monitoring and managing World Heritage properties,which empowers State Parties to persistently recognize potential threats.This article elucidates the SOC framework for World Heritage,delineates its evolution and refinement,and analyzes the prevailing indicators.It demonstrates the application and effectiveness of SOC in World Heritage preservation and administration,citing emblematic examples.The article advocates for the implementation of a uniform system of indicators in China to pinpoint threats and factors,alongside establishing robust monitoring and mitigation strategies.These recommendations aim to uphold the credibility of the Heritage List and focus scarce resources on preservation efforts.关键词
