Abstract
Objective:To explore and analyze the application effect of root canal therapy instrument under microscope in the treatment of complex root canal system and its influence on periapical tissue.Methods:From January 2019 to December 2020,70 patients with complex root canal system in the Department of Stomatology of Nanjing Tongren Hospital were randomly divided into two groups.The control group received traditional root canal therapy,and the experimental group received root canal therapy with a root canal therapy instrument under a microscope.The treat-ment time,root canal morphology,apical sealing,periapical inflammatory reaction,periapical bone absorption and healing were compared between the two groups.Results:The time of root canal treatment in the experimental group was significantly shorter than that in the control group,and the scores of root canal morphology,periapical inflam-matory reaction and periapical bone absorption were lower than those in the control group,while the scores of apical sealing and periapical healing were higher than those in the control group,with statistical significance(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Microscopic root canal therapy instrument has obvious advantages in the treatment of patients with complex root canal system,which can effectively clean and disinfect root canals,protect periapical tissues,promote periapical healing,and improve the success rate and long-term effect of root canal therapy.关键词
