摘要

Abstract

By constructing an oxidative stress model,cell viability,mitochondrial morphology,ATP production,and mitochondrial superoxide levels of human skin fibroblasts(HFF-1)stimulated by H2O2 with astaxanthin alone and a combination of astaxanthin,VC and arginine/lysine peptide(UshineAsta-C™)were evaluated.The results showed that compared with the control group and astaxanthin alone,the UshineAsta-C™ combination significantly improved cell viability and mitochondrial quality,increased mitochondrial ATP production levels,and reduced mitochondrial superoxide content.The results indicate that the UshineAsta-C™ composition has the effect of antioxidant activity by improving mitochondrial function of skin cells.
