Measurement,Regional Differences and Convergence of Digital China Construction Level
摘要
Abstract
This paper constructs an evaluation index system for the level of digital China construction from seven dimensions:digital infrastructure,digital technology innovation,digital economy,digital society,digital government,digital development envi-ronment,and network security,and then measures the level of digital China construction in 30 provinces of China from 2015 to 2021.The results are shown as the following:The level of digital China construction is showing an increasing trend,but the overall level is relatively low.The level of digital technology innovation and digital government construction needs to be further improved.There is a significant gradient difference in the level of digital China construction in the eastern,central,and western regions,pre-senting a spatial pattern of"high in the eastern region and low in the western region".The results of regional gap analysis show that during the sample period,the overall gap in the construction level of digital China shows a U-shaped characteristic,mainly originating from regional differences.The analysis of convergence mechanism proves that the level of digital China construction in the whole country and three major regions shows absolute β convergence and conditional β convergence characteristics.关键词
