Quantitative Research on Policy Text:Concepts,Methods,and Research Perspectives

Abstract
Quantitative research on policy text is an emerging methodological research paradigm in the field of policy research in the context of data intensive scientific research.To promote the application of this method,this paper systematically surveys and analyzes relevant literature on quantitative research on policy text at home and abroad,and summarizes its concepts,methods,and research perspectives,namely,defining conceptual definitions,generalizing methodological systems,summarizing five research perspectives in the application practices,and elaborating on the research progress and research deficiencies of each perspective.It is pointed out that the current application practice of this method is mainly limited by data foundation,technical methods,interdisciplinary theoretical framework,and cognition of policy issues and practical needs.In the future,we should focus on the construction of policy big data platforms,the application of technology and the development of tools,the integration of theories and cross-border cooperation,and the expansion of demand-oriented applications.关键词
