Abstract

Using the daily data of temperature,precipitation and wind speed at 11 observational stations in Shanghai region from 1991 to 2020,and the methods of a linear trend and GIS interpolation to analyze the temporal variation characteristics and the spatial distribution of the agricultural meteorological disaster including high temperature,low temperature,rainstorm and gale.The results showed that in recent 30 years the high temperature days in Shanghai was in an increasing trend and there were more high temperature days in suburbs and northwest areas than in exurbs and southeast areas;the probability of appearing high temperature days more than 5 days reached 33.3%in late July;the low temperature days was in an decreasing trend and there were more low temperature days in exurbs and northwest areas than in suburbs and southeast areas;the probability of appearing low temperature days more than 5 days reached 43.3%in late January;the rainstorm days and the annual rainstorm volume were in increasing trends and there were more rainstorm volume in suburbs and east areas than in exurbs and west areas;the gale days and extreme wind speed were in decreasing trends and there were more gale days and bigger extreme wind speed in east areas than in west areas.Considering the variation characteristics of the agricultural meteorological disaster,it is suggested to strengthen the selection of temperature-tolerant rice and vegetable varieties,and plant high-temperature tolerant crop varieties in the suburbs of Shanghai,and low-temperature tolerant varieties in the far suburbs of Shanghai.The results derived from the present study can provide technical reference for agricultural structure adjustment and land use planning of Shanghai.
