Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of teach-back health education on self-care ability and quality of life in patients after total hysterectomy.Methods A total of 78 patients with total hysterectomy admitted to the Department of Gynecology of Lanling County People's Hospital from December 2020 to March 2023 were selected and divided into the control group and the experimental group according to the order of admission,with 39 cases in each group.The control group was given routine health education,and the experimental group was given teach-back health education.Self-care ability and quality of life were compared between the two groups.Results After intervention,the self-management behavior scores of both groups were higher than those before intervention,and those in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention,the short-form health survey-36 scores of both groups were higher than those before intervention,and those in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Teach-back health education can improve self-care ability and life quality of patients after total hysterectomy.关键词
