Abstract

Resonant rubblization is a new technology introduced in the reconstruction and upgrading of old cement pavement to ensure pavement quality and solve engineering problems such as reflective cracks.Its crushing effect is closely related to technical parameters.In order to optimize the parame-ters of resonant rubblization of old cement pavement,based on the reconstruction project of S436 Xunchang to Yuhe Secondary Highway in Sichuan,the basic principles and parameter issues of resonant rubblization are introduced,and based on the orthogonal analysis method and multi-parameters optimi-zation theory,select key parameters such as the lateral net distance of the hammer trace,travel speed,hammer head vibration frequency,etc.,and conduct in-situ resonance crushing tests under different factors and status combinations.Parameter optimization of resonant rubblizing technology is car-ried out through on-site test pit evaluation,indoor particle classification test and qualified scoring method.The results show that the particle size grada-tion curve of the old cement pavement after resonant rubblization has good continuity,but the rubblizing effect differs significantly under different fac-tors;the crushing effect score decreases first with the increase of the lateral net distance of the hammer trace and the resonance frequency and then in-creases,and with the increase of traveling speed,the crushing effect score first increases and then decreases;the resonance frequency is the main con-trolling parameter of the crushing effect,followed by the influence of the lateral distance of the hammer trace,and the influence of the traveling speed is the minimum.Hence,the optimal parameter combination for the resonant rubblization of old cement pavement is proposed which can provide techni-cal reference for the reconstruction of old cement highways in southwest of China.
