重质碳酸钙聚合改性及其在聚氯乙烯中的应用研究
Study on polymerization modification of ground calcium carbonate and its application in poly(vinyl chloride)

Abstract
Ground calcium carbonate was modified through water grinding and polymerization modification to fit the appli-cation in poly(vinyl chloride)(PVC)pipes,and its structure and performance were investigated by using particle size ana-lyzer,thermogravimetric analyzer,infrared spectrometer,pendulum impact testing machine,universal tensile testing ma-chine,colorimeter,and gloss meter.The results indicated that the surface coating modification of calcium carbonate with polyvinyl acetate could be performed through in situ polymerization in calcium carbonate slurry.Compared to convention-al stearic acid-modified calcium carbonate,polyvinyl acetate-modified calcium carbonate exhibited better appearance and mechanical properties in the PVC application.This is due to the fact that polyvinyl acetate can better enhance the compat-ibility between calcium carbonate and polyvinyl chloride.关键词
