区域史研究的数字化困境
摘要
Abstract
Chinese border studies is a new academic field with strong Chinese characteristics.By combining the concepts of region,nation,and border,this broad field of study in philosophy and so-cial sciences examines the reality and history of China's borders.The field of border studies has come a long way in the last several years.However,several"problems"in the study of border his-tory cannot easily be resolved using conventional research techniques.Thus,in order to encourage the in-depth study of border history,it is imperative that digital humanities be incorporated into the practice of border history research,that historical data from the border be shared,and that his-torical boundaries be visualized using open-source technology and digital standards. From the standpoint of digital humanities,there are currently very few breakthroughs in border studies within academia.Therefore,we invite Miao Wei,professor of Northeast Asia School at Shan-dong University and researcher from Digital Humanities Laboratory of Shandong University,and Xiang Jing,associate professor of History School at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and researcher at the Digital History Research Center to contribute essays to share their perspectives in order to expand the scope and depth of the research.引用本文复制引用
