摘要

Abstract

The excellent reproductive performance of male livestock can improve the breeding efficiency,promote the improvement of livestock population and increase the production performance,and the normal development of testis is a prerequisite for the spermatogenesis and effective reproduction of male mammals.In recent years,high-throughput sequencing technology has been widely used in the studies of testicular development and spermatogenesis in mammals.The third-generation sequencing and single-cell transcriptome sequencing techniques have become effective tools for in-depth research on the mechanisms of male reproduction and spermatogenesis in livestock.This paper reviewed male testicular development,as well as third-generation sequencing and single-cell transcriptome sequencing technology and their application and research progress in testicular development,revealing the key genes and pathways related to male reproductive development,and providing the reference for improving reproductive efficiency and studying the causes of reproductive diseases of domestic animals.
