Wang Menggeng and His Two Volumes of Poems
摘要
Abstract
The Qing dynasty represents the pinnacle of Tibetan Studies in ancient poetry production and progress in Chinese literature.Wang Menggeng was a prominent poet in the mid-Qing Dynasty un-der the reign of Daoguang.His compositions were numerous and unique,and they can be found in two volumes of six recorded volumes of poems,"Dao Wu Ji Cheng Cao"and"Yu Tong Man Chang Cao."The poems capture Wang's observations,perceptions,feelings,and major historical mo-ments in the Kangzang area during the middle of the Qing dynasty.This historical record offers in-valuable resources for researching the history of the Kangba area during the Qing dynasty,as well as historical accounts of the interactions and blending of the Han and Tibetan nationalities.关键词
