Breeding Report of the Machine-picking Suitable Green Tea Cultivar'Zhongcha 503'
摘要
Abstract
'Zhongcha 503'is a new tea cultivar suitable for machine-picking,which is bred by systematic selection of individual plants from the descendants of'Zhongcha108'.The strain comparison,regional tests and machine-pick-ing suitability tests show that'Zhongcha 503'is a very early sprouting and high yield cultivar.The green tea made from'Zhongcha 503'was tightly knotted,fine hair and vivid,bright green soup color and high aroma,a taste of fresh and mellow and soft indigo leaf base.It had abundant components.The water extract,tea polyphenol,amino acid and caffeine content of one bud and two leaves were 46.4%,13.7%,5.2%and 2.7%respectively.It showed high tolerance to cold,drought and anthracnose(R),sensitive to tea green leafhopper(S).It had a long internode in young shoots and showed a high percent of intact bud,one bud and two to three leaves after machine-picking.'Zhongcha 503'passed the non-major crop cultivar registration in Oct.2020,with the registration number of GPD tea(2022)330053.关键词
