Abstract
Objective:To investigate the application effects of Empagliflozin in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with hypertension and its influence on vascular endothelial injury.Method:A total of 100 patients with type 2 diabetes complicated with hypertension treated in Jingzhou Third People's Hospital from January 2020 to July 2023 were selected.They were divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method,with 50 cases in each group.The control group was given routine treatment for diabetes and hypertension,and the observation group was given Empagliflozin Tablets on the basis of the control group.The hypertension control effect,adverse reactions,blood glucose index,blood pressure index and vascular endothelial injury marker before treatment and after 12 weeks of treatment were compared between the two groups.Result:The total effective rate of hypertension treatment in observation group was significantly higher than that in control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).After 12 weeks of treatment,the glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c),fasting plasma glucose(FPG)and 2 h postprandial blood glucose(2 h PG)in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 12 weeks of treatment,24 h systolic blood pressure(24 h SBP)and 24 h diastolic blood pressure(24 h DBP),24-hour systolic blood pressure coefficient of variation(24 h SBP CV)and 24-hour diastolic blood pressure coefficient of variation(24 h DBP CV)in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 12 weeks of treatment,circulating endothelial cells(CEC),endothelin-1(ET-1)and P-selectin(PS)in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application effect of Empagliflozin in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus combined with hypertension is good,which can effectively control and stabilize blood pressure and blood glucose,and effectively control vascular endothelial damage,so it is of high application value in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with hypertension.关键词
