Abstract
Objective:To analyze the effect of unilateral biportal endoscopic discectomy(UBED)on lumbar disc herniation.Method:A total of 80 patients with lumbar disc herniation admitted to Cenxi People's Hospital from February 2022 to February 2023 were selected as the study objects,and the patients were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method,with 40 cases in each group.The control group underwent traditional posterior lumbar discectomy,and the observation group underwent UBED treatment.Intraoperative and postoperative conditions,pain[visual analogue scale(VAS)],lumbar function[Oswestry disability index(ODI)],and efficacy score for low back pain[Japanese Orthopaedic Association(JOA)]were recorded and compared between the two groups.Result:The intraoperative blood loss in the observation group was less than that in the control group,and the incision length,operation time and hospital stay were shorter than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).At 3 months and 6 months after operation,VAS score and ODI score of observation group were lower than those in control group,JOA score was higher than that in control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The use of UBED in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation can significantly reduce the amount of intraoperative blood loss,relieve postoperative pain,shorten the operative time and hospital stay of patients,and promote the recovery of lumbar function.关键词
