Abstract
Objective To analyze the application effect of comfort care combined with protective sleep nursing in newborns with hyperbilirubinemia undergoing blue light irradiation therapy.Methods The data of 114 children with hyperbilirubinemia who underwent blue light irradiation therapy at the Yancheng Third People's Hospital from May 2021 to May 2022 were retrospectively analyzed.According to different nursing methods,they were divided into a control group and an observation group,with 57 cases in each group.The control group received routine care,while the observation group received comfort care combined with protective sleep nursing on the basis of routine care.The serum bilirubin levels,symptom improvement time,sleep time,weight,and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups.Results At discharge,the levels of serum total bilirubin(TBIL),indirect bilirubin(IBIL),and direct bilirubin(DBIL)in both groups were lower than before intervention(all P＜0.05).Compared with the control group,the levels of serum TBIL,IBIL,and DBIL were lower in the observation group at discharge(all P＜0.05).The duration of jaundice and hospitalization for jaundice in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group(both P＜0.05).At discharge and 1-month follow-up,both groups had longer sleep time and heavier weight than before intervention(all P＜0.05).The sleep time of the observation group was longer than that of the control group during the same period,and the weight of the observation group was heavier than that of the control group during the same period(both P＜0.05).At discharge,the total incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Comfort care combined with protective sleep nursing can shorten the time for symptoms to subside in children with hyperbilirubinemia undergoing blue light irradiation therapy,improve their sleep time and weight,and reduce serum bilirubin levels and incidence of complications.关键词
