Abstract
In longitudinal data from clinical cohorts,the application of the Group-Based Trajectory Model(GBTM)could identify individuals with similar developmental trajectories and categorize them into dis-tinct trajectory groups to find the heterogeneity within patient populations.This study presented the fundamental principles and analytical steps of GBTM.Using data from the Chinese Systemic Lupus Erythematosus Treatment and Research Group(CSTAR)Registry,the GBTM method was used to identify diverse developmental trajec-tories of SLEDAI-2K indicators in systemic lupus erythematosus patients over a 2-year follow-up period.It could provide important information for applying GBTM in prognostic studies from clinical cohorts.关键词
