Abstract
Objective To explore the application effect of empowerment health education combined with mindfulness-based stress reduction in chronic sinusitis patients.Methods A total of 120 patients with chronic sinusitis who planned to undergo nasal endoscopic surgery at Renji Hospital,Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine from March 2019 to August 2021 were selected as the study subjects.They were divided into a control group(60 cases)and an observation group(60 cases)according to the different perioperative nursing plans.The control group received routine perioperative care,while the observation group received empowerment health education combined with mindfulness-based stress reduction.The clinical symptom scores,serum total immunoglobulin(TIgE),eosinophil cationic protein(ECP),mastery of health knowledge,and incidence of postoperative complications were compared between the two groups.Results On the day of discharge,the serum TIgE and ECP levels,as well as nasal ventilation,dryness,runny nose,and headache scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group.The scores of health knowledge mastery of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,and the above indicators and scores of both groups were better than those at admission,with statistical differences(all P＜0.05).The total incidence of postoperative complications was lower in the observation group compared to the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion The application of empowerment health education combined with mindfulness-based stress reduction in patients with chronic sinusitis under nasal endoscope can effectively promote postoperative recovery of patients,improve their serum indicators,enhance their mastery of health knowledge,and reduce the risk of complications.关键词
