Effect of Stent Implantation in Subacute Stage of Cerebral Infarction with Subtotal Occlusion of Internal Carotid Artery

Abstract
Objective To study the intervention effect of stent implantation in the acute stage of cerebral infarc-tion with subtotal occlusion of the internal carotid artery on cerebral tissue blood flow reconstruction and neurol-ogical function recovery.Method A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 43 patients with subacute cerebral infarction caused by subtotal occlusion of the internal carotid artery.According to different treatment methods,21 cases in control group were treated with simple medication;22 cases in the observation group were treated with medicine combined with stent implantation.Compare the degree of cerebral collateral circulation formation(based on ASITN/SIR-DSA grading),cerebral blood flow perfusion indicators(CBF),cerebral blood volume(CBV),neurological deficit score(NIHSS),and cognitive function score(MMSE)between the two groups before surgery,immediately after surgery,and 6 months after surgery.Results The total effective rate of the observation group at 6 months after surgery was 95.35%,which was higher than 78.57%in the control group(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference(P>0.05);ASITN/SIR-DSA grading,CBF,CBV and MMSE in the postoperative observation group were higher than those in the control group,while the NIHSS score in the postoperative observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse events in the observation group was 13.95%,lower than 33.33%in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Stent implantation is safe and effective in treating patients with subtotal occlusion of internal carotid artery cerebral infarction in subacute stage,which can promote the regeneration of cerebral vessels,improve cerebral blood flow perfusion,and promote the recovery of cognitive and neurological functions.关键词
