Civilizing the People through Cultural Development in Agricultural Colleges and Universities:Value Implications,Realistic Problems,and Implementation Paths

Abstract
Culture has an important educational function,and civilizing the people through cultural de-velopment is the mechanism expression of cultural educational function.Civilizing the people through cultural development has a significant value and role in ideological and political work in colleges and u-niversities.Agriculture-related colleges and universities are essential battlefields for promoting rural revi-talization and achieving modernization of agriculture and rural areas.Civilizing the people through cul-tural development is an inherent requirement for agricultural colleges and universities in the new era to implement the fundamental task of cultivating morality and talents.It is also an inevitable choice to en-hance the effectiveness of ideological and political education in agricultural colleges and universities.It can effectively achieve the talent cultivation goal of"one understanding,two loves,and three haves"in agricultural colleges and universities.However,some agricultural colleges and universities currently have prominent problems like weak concepts,insufficient role of the main body,insufficient connotation construction,and relatively single carriers.Only by further clarifying the idea of"civilizing the people through cultural development",strengthening the role of"civilizing the people through cultural develop-ment"as the main body,enriching the content of"civilizing the people through cultural development",and constantly innovating the carrier of"civilizing the people through cultural development"in prac-tice,can we integrate the concept of"civilizing the people through cultural development"into the entire process of ideological and political education in agricultural colleges and universities,promote the trans-formation of the connotation of"culture"into the art of"transformation",and effectively integrate ide-ological guidance,value guidance,and behavior supervision,can we cultivate more outstanding agricul-tural and forestry talents.关键词
