单中心7年2 680例减重代谢手术总结OACSTPCD

Objective:This study aims to analyze the clinical data of patients who underwent metabolic bariatric surgery(MBS)over a period of 7 years and summarize the basic characteristics of obese patients.Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of patients who underwent MBS from Apr.2017 to May 2023.Demographic information,obesity-related comorbidities,and surgical details were collected.Results:A total of 2 680 patients'clinical data were collected,with 24.8%being male and75.2%being female.The patients came from 32 provincial-level administrative regions(62%from Henan province).The averageagewas(32.4±8.4)years,mainlyconcentratedintheagerangeof20-40 years.Theaveragebodymassindexofthe patients was(39.6±7.7)kg/m2,with higher obesity levels observed in the northern regions.Among all patients,34.5%had type 2 diabetes,17.8%had hypertension,and 52.4%had hyperuricemia,with the prevalence of these conditions showing an increasing trend over the years.The center performed a total of 7 surgical procedures,with sleeve gastrectomy accounting for 96.8%,while the remaining 6 proce-dures accounted for 3.2%.The average surgical time was(122.8±37.8)min,median blood loss was 10(10,10)mL,and average hos-pital stay was(7.5±3.4)d.Conclusions:Over the past 7 years,there have been changes in the age structure of patients and the occu-rrence rate of obesity-related comorbidities.The proportion of younger patients was higher in the earlier years with lower occurrence rates of comorbidities.However,in recent years,there has been an increase in the proportion of middle-aged patients and a rise in the occu-rrence rate of comorbidities.
