Construction of an evaluation index system for nutritional nursing in perioperative patients with colorectal cancer

Abstract
Objective:Nutritional status of patients with colorectal cancer during the perioperative period directly affects the surgical outcomes and prognosis.Reasonable nutritional care can effectively reduce the incidence of complications and improve the quality of life of patients.However,there is a lack of unified and scientific standards for evaluating the quality of nutritional care.This study aims to provide a scientific basis for nutritional care for patients with colorectal cancer during the perioperative period by constructing an evaluation index system for the quality of nutritional nursing. Methods:Based on theoretical guidance,evidence-based results,and previous research by the research team,a draft of the evaluation index system for the quality of nutritional nursing for patients with colorectal cancer during the perioperative period was formulated,consisting of 4 structural indicators,3 process indicators,and 2 outcome indicators.22 experts in colorectal cancer nutrition from tertiary hospitals in 6 provinces and cities in China were consulted.After collecting expert opinions,indicators were revised and improved based on criteria of importance rating mean>3.50 and coefficient of variation<0.25. Results:A total of 2 rounds of expert consultations were conducted with a 100%response rate and recovery rate for both rounds.The coefficient of expert authority was 0.93,indicating a high level of authority.The overall Kendall harmony coefficients for the two rounds of consultations were 0.23 and 0.32(P<0.01),indicating a trend of consensus among experts.After 2 rounds of expert consultations,a pool of items for the evaluation index system for the quality of nutritional nursing for patients with colorectal cancer during the perioperative period was preliminarily constructed,including 3 primary indicators,9 secondary indicators,and 56 tertiary indicators. Conclusion:Construction of the evaluation index system for the quality of nutritional nursing for patients with colorectal cancer during the perioperative period is of great importance,scientific,and practical.It can guide the quality evaluation and continuous improvement of specialized nutritional nursing for patients with colorectal cancer during the perioperative period in clinical practice.关键词
