Abstract
Sleep-wake behavior is an indispensable physiological state in human daily life and is crucial to physical health and cognitive function.In the field of neuroscience,researchers have long been committed to exploring the regulatory mechanisms of sleep and related neural circuits.This article presents the latest research progress on the sleep-wake neural circuits,with a focus on summarizing the nuclei and neurons responsible for controlling non-rapid eye movement sleep,the initiating and terminating nuclei and neurons for rapid eye movement sleep,and the arousal-promoting nuclei.This provides an important foundation for understanding sleep disorders,enhancing sleep quality,and improving brain function.关键词
