Abstract

To effectively promote the construction of the ecological flow guarantee system for rivers and lakes,the basic ecologi-cal flow of important tributaries in the middle and lower reaches of the Hanjiang River has been determined by the methods of Qp,Tennant,driest month in recent 10 years and frequency curve,and the control target for monthly ecological flow of the section has been delineated.The results showed that:① the basic ecological flow of the control sections in the important tributaries in the middle and lower Hanjiang River was 1.16~7.5 m3/s,accounting for 5%~15%of the annual average flow.In addition to the low satisfaction of the Gucheng section of Nanhe River due to the diversion of Jinpengou Hydropower Station,the satisfaction of other sections was higher than 90%,which can be used as the basis for ecological flow control.② Using the adaptation method,the monthly target of ecological flow for each section was determined to be 1.16~55.0 m3/s,with an annual discharge volume accounting for 20%of the annual average runoff.And the monthly average satisfaction can reach more than 80%.The research can provide a reference for improving the legal system,strengthening the ecological operation of projects,and offering guidance for the supervision and management of water resources protection in the Hanjiang River Basin.
