基于云雷达资料的那曲对流云粒子相态识别研究
Recognition of particles phase in convective clouds over Nagqu by using millimeter-wave radar measurements

Abstract
Based on Doppler spectra of a Ka-band cloud radar in the third Tibetan Plateau Experiment of Atmospheric Sciences Project,relevant microwave radiometer and radiosonde data,an algorithm for identifying particle phase by using fuzzy logic algorithm was proposed,and the effects of the algorithm were analyzed using two typical convective cases.Finally,the method presented in this paper is reliable by comparing with the previous methods and counting intensity spectra of diverse particles.The main findings are as follows:the rationality of phase classification results of particles in convective clouds can be improved by using the particle terminal velocity instead of radial velocity as one of parameters of the phase identification.The preliminary results of phase identification can be further optimized by using the parameters,such as bright band and lifting condensation level.The particle terminal velocity of solid particles is much lower than precipitation particles with the same reflectivity factor.The mixed phase with large particles can be recognized by the multiple modals and multiple peaks of power spectra.关键词
