Probabilistic Shaping Design for Physical Layer Network Coding Systems Based on Hierarchical Modulation
分层调制是一种根据发送信号的相对重要性对数据流进行不等保护的关键技术.针对双向中继信道下基于分层调制技术的PNC系统进行研究.当系统采用均匀的输入分布时会产生成形损耗,由于传统的分布匹配器的非线性成形编译码过程不适用于PNC系统,因此提出一种线性概率成形码本方案,以确保其成形编译码过程是线性的,进一步推导了成形系统可达速率表达式.仿真结果表明,所提出的线性成形方案在中低SNR具有0.3 dB的成形增益.
Hierarchical modulation,a crucial technique for unequal protection of data streams based on their significance,is investigated for physical layer network coding(PNC)systems in two-way relay channels.Traditional shaping techniques,which utilize distribution matches for nonlinear shaping and decoding,are inadequate for PNC systems due to the incurred shaping loss when a uniform input distribution is employed.This study introduces a novel linear probabilistic shaping codebook approach that ensures a linear shaping and decoding process.An expression for the achievable rate of the shaped system is further derived.Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed linear shaping scheme achieves a shaping gain of 0.3 dB at low to medium SNR levels.
