Design and Analysis of Pattern Division Random Access with Successive Interference Cancellation Receivers

Abstract
The pattern division random access(PDRA)framework,utilizing pattern-domain pilots for channel estimation,effectively mitigates pilot contamination issues in machine-type communication under random access scenarios.To further explore the potential of the PDRA framework,a successive interference cancellation(SIC)receiver is integrated with PDRA.This integration employs the SIC algorithm to eliminate the pilot signals of successfully decoded users in the pattern domain,thereby reducing interference and alleviating pilot contamination issues.Simulation results demonstrate that,compared to the PDRA scheme with a matched filter receiver,the SIC receiver further capitalizes on the inherent advantages of the PDRA framework,resulting in a higher probability of successful access.关键词
