摘要
Abstract
6G demands the support of more diverse performance metrics,including higher peak and user data rates,while achieving these goals with lower power consumption and reduced chip complexity.This paper reviews the existing information theory and coding methods,and,in the context of the upcoming 6G standardization,explores the future requirements and development trends in information theory and channel coding.The discussion includes 6G key performance indicators related to channel coding and several fundamental trade-offs that guide 6G channel coding design.This overview highlights that the theoretical and practical efforts in information theory and coding research are far from complete,with numerous important issues related to coding implementation and productization deserving further theoretical investigation.关键词
