Control of Source-Sink System of Transfer Zone on Reservoir Quality:A Case Study from Huizhou 26 Transfer Zone in Huizhou Sag of Pearl River Mouth Basin

Abstract
In order to clarify the control effect of the source-sink system on the physical properties of reservoirs,the essential features of the source-sink system in the Huizhou 26 transfer zone are characterized and the physical properties of sedimentary sandbody reservoirs are analyzed based on drilling,logging,seismic,rock core and other data.Furthermore,the source-sink coupling mode and its control effect on the reservoirs in different periods in the Huizhou 26 transfer zone are clarified.The results show that the provenance of the Huizhou 26 transfer zone was continuously supplied by the southern Dongsha uplift during the Wenchang-Enping period;In terms of transportation system,the morphology of valleys changed from a V-shape during the Wenchang period to a U-shape during the Enping period;In terms of sedimentary system,the Huizhou 26 transfer zone experienced a sedimentary evolution process of from deep-water narrow fan,shallow-water wide fan to shallow-water wide basin braided delta during the Wenchang-Enping period.Based on the analysis of the source-sink system and the physical properties of the reservoirs,it is held that the reservoir quality in the study area is controlled by transportation distance and sedimentary facies zones.Within the same sedimentary system,the longer the transportation distance,the more developed the high-quality reservoirs;The front underwater distributary channel microfacies in the braided river delta,which have been transformed into the lake from a slope and transported over a long distance,are the most favorable facies belts,and the physical properties of its sandbody reservoirs are the best.关键词
