Abstract
The national standard GB/T 38121-2023,Protection against lightning—Thunderstorm warning systems,was officially released on May 23,2023,and has been officially implemented since December 1,2023.The main contents of the standard include scope,normative references,terms and definitions,abbreviations,thunderstorm stages and detectable phenomena for alarms,thunderstorm detectors and their performance descriptions,alarm methods,installation,maintenance,and performance evaluation,as well as application of thunderstorm warning systems.The standard provides scientific technical support for thunderstorm warning work in various related sectors such as meteorology,electricity,petrochemical industry,construction,aviation,and railway industry,strongly guaranteeing safe industrial production.This paper introduces the main process of drafting the standard,interprets the main contents and key points of the standard,and helps users correctly understand the national standard,to facilitate its promotion and application.关键词
