Mechanisms and Clinical Research Progress Related to Acupuncture and Moxibustion for Depression
摘要
Abstract
In recent years,with the increasing pressure of life caused by the rapid development of social economy,the number of patients with depression has increased year by year.Acupuncture,as a characteristic therapy of tradi-tional Chinese medicine,plays an important role in preventing and treating depression.Therefore,a large amount of research has been carried out on the prevention and treatment of depression with acupuncture.The author searched and sorted out the literature related to acupuncture treatment of depression in recent years,reviewed the important understanding of depression by traditional Chinese medicine since ancient times,clinical research on acupuncture to improve depressive-like behaviors,and the mechanism of acupuncture in treating depression,and summarized the cur-rent treatment of depression.A series of research deficiencies in acupuncture treatment of depression can be improved in the future.More scientific and rigorous in-depth research on the therapeutic effect of acupuncture on depression will help acupuncture therapy to exert its unique advantages.关键词
