LIU Shaowu Discusses the Treatment of Chronic Bronchitis from"Lung Heat"

Abstract
Chronic bronchitis is a chronic non-specific inflammation of the trachea,bronchial mucosa and sur-rounding tissues caused by factors such as infection or smoking.As a common chronic disease,chronic bronchitis seriously affects people's quality of life.Mr.LIU Shaowu is one of the first batch of famous traditional Chinese medi-cine experts in the country to inherit the academic experience.He has been engaged in traditional Chinese medicine research and clinical work for more than 60 years.He has read through the works of various authors and founded the"Three Books and Six Diseases"academic school on this basis.He has extensive experience in the diagnosis,treatment and research of chronic lung diseases.Mr.LIU Shaowu analyzed the etiology and pathogenesis of chronic bronchitis based on the theory of three parts and six diseases.He believed that general lung diseases are related to infection with external evils,and most of them belong to"lung heat".He used his own prescription Tiaofei Decoction to treat it.Tiao-fei Decoction uses Xiao Chaihu Decoction to coordinate the whole body,uses Maxing Shigan Decoction to relieve lung inflammation and clears away lung heat,and uses Shengmai Powder to enhance heart function.Target the local part,coordinate the whole,and take into account the relevant organs.Moreover,Mr.LIU Shaowu also proposed that clinical attention should be paid to the use of ephedra,Schisandra chinensis,and poppy shells,which have significant curative effects and a wide range of applications.关键词
